What is a hookah (shisha)?
A hookah (also called shisha or a waterpipe) is a device that filters smoke or vapour through water before it’s drawn through a hose. What you smoke (tobacco shisha vs tobacco-free blends) determines the type of session and the rules that apply.

How do I set up a hookah?
A quick basic setup looks like this:
• Fill the base with water (enough to cover the downstem by a couple of centimetres)
• Assemble the stem and seal it properly
• Attach hose(s) and check airflow
• Pack your bowl (don’t overpack) and place foil or a heat management device (HMD)
• Light charcoal safely and place it on top

How long does a session last?
Most sessions run around 45–90 minutes, depending on your bowl size, heat management, and how often you rotate coals.
Can I mix flavours?
Yes — mixing flavours is common. Start simple (2 flavours max) and keep one “base” flavour (like mint) light so it doesn’t overpower the mix.
